Meat imports in Russia in January 2020 decreased by 22.8% compared to the same period in 2019 and amounted to 20.7 thousand tons, according to the materials of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia

In monetary terms, this indicator decreased by 14.1%, to $ 76.2 million.

At the same time, imports of fresh and frozen poultry meat for the reporting period increased by 3.3%, to 16.2 thousand tons. In value terms, this figure decreased by 3.6%, to $ 26.5 million.

Imports of fresh and frozen fish in January increased by 8.2% up to 35.1 thousand tons. In value terms, this indicator increased by 22.6%, to $ 112.7 million.
