Four more outbreaks of African Swine Fever have been detected in Russia, with three of the outbreaks being in village swine.

There were two cases in wild boar, and both these animals were destroyed.

In farmed pigs, there were five cases across the three village herds. These five animals died, and the remaining 335 were destroyed across the three herds to prevent the disease from spreading.

Control of wildlife reservoirs is under way to prevent further spread, along with quarantine and stamping out measures.

The outbreak occurred in Saratovskaya, in the west of the country.
