The Russian Agricultural Week, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, is taking place at the Expo 2020 World Expo in Dubai until February 24. It includes an interactive exhibition AGRO ART MUSEUM with a concept based on the link between agriculture and culture.
It demonstrates the achievements of the domestic agricultural sector and its considerable potential through modern multimedia technology and masterpieces by great Russian artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. The Pavilion also hosts gastronomic events where visitors are treated to national dishes made from Russia's traditional products.
"In recent years, the Russian agricultural sector has achieved truly impressive results. The industry is developing dynamically, and domestic products, due to their quality that meets the highest standards, take a leading position in the world market. The Russian Agricultural Week at the World Expo is to tell everyone about the potential of domestic products, their demand on global markets and, in general, about the beauty and diversity of our cuisine. I am confident that the participation of Russian companies in such exhibitions as Expo and Gulfood will strengthen our country's position abroad and contribute to an increase in the export of agricultural products in the region," said Dmitry Patrushev.
A Ministry's delegation and major domestic food producers participate in a business programme. It includes panel discussions, round tables, and meetings with foreign partners. The focus is on the potential for investment cooperation between Russia and the Persian Gulf countries, trends in retail and HoReCa development, the transformation of agricultural education, and expanding the supply of domestic agricultural products and foodstuffs to the Middle East region.
