The Russian ambassador to Turkey, Alexei Yerkhov, said that Moscow and Ankara were able to achieve the “first results” in the agreements on the supply of Russian meat and milk to Turkey.

According to the diplomat, the first decision was reached on the admission of Russian meat and its products to Turkey within the framework of the quota allocated by the authorities. As expected, deliveries will be duty free. According to Yerhov, concrete decisions on the export of meat in Turkey will appear in the coming weeks.
