As the newspaper notes, problems arose not only with imported additives, but also with the supply of Russian components. Market participants believe that this situation may persist until the second half of 2022.

The head of the National Meat Association (NMA) Sergey Yushin informed about the current situation with the supply of amino acids for feed mills, the level of which is assessed as critical. He reported his concerns to First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov in his letter.

Sergey Yushin said that difficulties with the supply of essential acids and vitamins over the past two weeks have arisen for both small and large feed producers. NMA warned that the situation threatens to temporarily stop a number of feed mills and reduce the quality of feed, which will lead to an increase in the cost of the meat production.
