In connection with the emergency situation on the African swine fever in the Amur region, the fourth day there is a ban on the sale of local pork, reports Amur.Info news agency.

Since August 31, pork has disappeared in the meat rows of the Annunciation market and on store shelves. Buyers are offered poultry and beef, but retail prices for red meat are growing every day. To date, commercial enterprises claim that beef in Blagoveshchensk has risen in price by an average of 20 rubles and forecast a further increase in meat prices. The emergency situation in connection with ASF has affected both business and the ability of the population of the Amur region to buy meat.
