Annual inflation in the Russian Federation will continue to rise for several more months, but its current rate has stopped increasing, says the next issue of the Bank of Russia’s “What Trends Are Talking About” bulletin.
"Currently, the current rate of price growth has stopped increasing, but there has not yet been a significant reduction in prices. The growth of stable components of the prices of goods and services that make up the consumer basket significantly exceeds 4% on an annualized basis and is increasing rather than slowing down. Annual inflation will continue for several months increase as we leave the calculation base for the relatively low rates of price growth at the end of 2022 - beginning of 2023,” Central Bank experts indicate.
