 On April 24-26   All-Russian Congress of livestock specialists and breeders in the field of animal husbandry took place at the Russian State Agrarian University. Vladimir Kashin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Jambulat Hatuov, as well as more than 700 heads and specialists of regional agricultural management bodies, breeding enterprises, agricultural organizations and scientific institutions from 81 constituent entities of the Russian Federation participated in the industry forum.

The program of the congress included issues of the development of animal breeding in Russia, reducing dependence on imported genetic material and ensuring food security of the country. A number of events had a scientific and practical orientation. Great interest was paid to workshops and master classes.

In recent years, the tribal business in Russia has been actively developing, Jambulat Hatuov noted that last year the government allocated 12 billion rubles to finance this area. The priority of this support will continue in the future, he promised.
