In 2023, Russian farmers will be able to maintain access to concessional loans necessary for the development of production, sowing and maintenance of current activities. It was decided to allocate additional budget investments for these purposes, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told.
We are talking about 5 billion rubles. The funds allocated by the order of the Government will go to the authorized capital of the Russian Agricultural Bank - it is one of the main creditors of the domestic agricultural industry.
Budget investments will allow the bank to increase the volume of loans issued, including within the framework of preferential programs that provide for subsidizing the interest rate.
The decision will help farmers to maintain the pace of technological modernization and increase production volumes, which will have a positive impact on ensuring the country's food security.
