AgroVestnik magazine, citing the press service of Miratorg Agribusiness Holding, reports that  Kaliningrad Meat Company LLC increased the stock of Aberdeen Angus herd more than 30% in 2019.

The Kaliningrad Meat Company, which is a part of Miratorg, was founded in 2011 in the Ozersky District of the Kaliningrad Region as the base enterprise for the cattle-breeding project to create a meat cattle breeding industry. Now Kaliningrad Meat Company holds more than 75 thousand head of cattle of the Aberdeen Angus breed. According to the results of 2019, the breeding stock at the facilities of the largest meat and cattle operator in the Kaliningrad region amounted to 44 thousand units.
