Pig farm "Kondopoga" in the Kondopozhsky district of Karelia was closed due to bankruptcy. 100 people were left without work.

The company is a member of AKS-Holding LLC. The pig farm was opened in 2011.  The parent flock was brought from France.

Now all pigs are sold and there is not a single large livestock enterprise specializing in meat production in the republic.
