The share of Russian agricultural organizations that made a profit in the main industries increased from 79.9 to 80 percent in January-April of this year. This was reported by Rosstat.
We are talking about farms and enterprises operating not only in the fields of crop production and livestock farming, but also in hunting and providing services in these industries. At the same time, there were just as many fewer profitable organizations and more unprofitable ones operating in the sectors of agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming – 77.6 versus 77.7 and 22.4 versus 22.3%, respectively.
Last year, the share of enterprises that incurred expenses, on the contrary, also increased by 0.1 percent, from 20.1 to 20. The worst situation was with organizations in fishing and fish farming, of which the share of profitable ones decreased year on year from 61. 8 to 56.2, and unprofitable ones increased from 38.2 to 43.8 percent.
The balanced financial result (the difference between profit and loss) of organizations in all of these industries for the year increased by 30.8 percent or up to 232 billion rubles. Profit also increased - by 29.9% to 265.7 billion, but the loss also increased - by 23.8 percent to 33.7 billion.
