Ukrainian agricultural products in 2020 gained access to the markets of 12 countries, 35 export certificates were agreed, and two EU audits were conducted. This was announced by the head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection Vladislava Magaletskaya during a public report on the work of the department in 2020 on Wednesday, March 3.
"We are talking about both the traditional foreign economic partners of Ukraine – the EU, China, the USA, India, and the markets underserved by Ukrainian exporters - Mexico, Australia, Brazil, Angola, etc.," the head of the State Consumer Service said.
Magaletskaya noted that in 2020, operations were conducted to open 100 new markets on six continents. Also last year, work was carried out on the conclusion of sanitary and phytosanitary international treaties with Brazil, Algeria, Indonesia, Vietnam, Iran, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Lebanon, Greece, Germany, Sweden and Georgia.
According to the State Food and Consumer Service, this year work continues to expand exports of various commodity items, including livestock, beef and pork, and reproductive material.
