Three new departments have been created in the Ministry of Agriculture, they will deal with selection and seed production, land reclamation, as well as regulation in the field of fisheries and aquaculture (fish farming), according to the website of the department.

Previously, the department of melioration, land policy and state property was engaged in land reclamation. Now this department will be responsible only for issues of land policy, property relations and state property.

The "fish" department in the Ministry of Agriculture was previously abolished as part of the reform of the state apparatus. The Department of Education and Science and Technology Policy dealt with fisheries issues.

There was no Department of Breeding and Seed Production in the Ministry before.

In early August, a government decree was adopted, according to which the number of deputy ministers of agriculture increased from 8 to 9, and the number of departments from 15 to 18.
