At the same time, milk production in the farms of the region amounted to 102.8 thousand tons (a decrease of 0.8%).

During the reporting period, 54.4 million eggs were received in the Tver region (a decrease of 8.5%).

Farms of all categories as of July 1 of the current year kept 84.4 thousand heads of cattle (a decrease of 7.1%), including cows - 38.5 thousand (a decrease of 6.7%); pigs - 772.8 thousand heads (decrease by 27.7%), sheep and goats - 39.8 thousand heads (decrease by 11.6%), poultry - 3.5 million (growth by 11.3%) .
