Ukraine's poultry meat exports reached 29.2 thousand tonnes with a total value of $38.8 million in January 2019, according to the latest data released by the State Fiscal Service.

Meanwhile, in the same month, 11.6 thousand tonnes of chicken meat were delivered to Ukraine for a total of $4.6 million, as reported by UNN.

Ukraine's chicken meat exports exceeded the imports by 2.6 times in weight terms.

The country's main export destination were Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands and Slovakia. In January, Ukraine delivered chicken meat to Saudi Arabia worth a total $7,900. At the same time, the Netherlands bought Ukrainian poultry meat for $6,800, while Slovakia - for $4,400.
