Total natural cheese stocks in refrigerated warehouses on January 31, 2016 were up 3 percent from the previous month and up 12 percent from January 31, 2015.

Butter stocks were up 26 percent from last month and up 32 percent from a year ago.

Total frozen poultry supplies on January 31, 2016 were up 5 percent from the previous month and up 11 percent from a year ago. Total stocks of chicken were down 4 percent from the previous month but up 13 percent from last year. Total pounds of turkey in freezers were up 44 percent from last month and up 3 percent from January 31, 2015.

Total frozen fruit stocks were down 8 percent from last month but up 8 percent from a year ago.

Total frozen vegetable stocks were down 6 percent from last month but up 6 percent from a year ago. Total red meat supplies in freezers were up 9 percent from the previous month and up 7 percent from last year.

Total pounds of beef in freezers were up 1 percent from the previous month and up 5 percent from last year. Total beef is a record high for the month of January, since the data was first recorded in 1915.

Frozen pork supplies were up 17 percent from the previous month and up 7 percent from last year. Total pork is a record high for the month of January, since the data was first recorded in 1915. Stocks of pork bellies were up 14 percent from last month and up 13 percent from last year.
