The poultry industry is targeted by the delegates of Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of the Republic of Singapore.

 

Singapore has deployed an audit mission in Ukraine to check the system of state control over poultry products, informs UNIAN information agency.
According to Ukrainian authorities, Singaporean mission is to visit Ukraine's State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Examination and several poultry production facilities interested in exports to Singapore.

"Delegates from the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of the Republic of Singapore, who are auditing the system of state control over poultry products, in particular, poultry meat and products made of it, namely eggs and egg products, started to work in Ukraine on July 30, 2018", mentioned the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine.
In 2017, Ukraine's poultry exports reached a volume of 271,320 tonnes worth $389.64 million. This year, the country has managed to open the Chinese market by signing a memorandum on cooperation and promotion of mutual trade in poultry meat.

Singaporean audit mission is going to stay in the country until August 4 to verify all the aspects related to the safety of poultry products. Singapore imports more of 90% of the food consumed on the island.
