“By 2030, the production volume of the Russian agricultural sector should still increase by at least a quarter compared to 2021, and exports should increase by 1.5 times. We will definitely continue to support the industry, as well as the program for the comprehensive development of rural areas,” the head of state said.

Vladimir Putin especially noted the work of small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas and in the agro-industrial complex. Thanks to this, Russia has fully ensured its food security.

“Now we not only fully provide ourselves with food. Russia is the leader in the global wheat market. We are among the top twenty leading food exporting countries,” the president noted.

The head of state thanked agricultural workers for the “impressive results.”
