In the Shuryshkarsky district of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the procurement of reindeer meat has begun.

The first team of the agricultural enterprise has already arrived at the deer slaughter point. Reindeer herders prepared 280 heads. In total, the slaughter teams plan to provide 71 tons of meat.

In total, there are about 22,000 deer in the Shuryshkar region. All harvested meat will be donated to social institutions and for retail sale.
