One of Russia’s biggest pork producers, Miratorg, will complete the construction of its slaughterhouse project in Kursk region, Russia, in 2021. That is what Roman Starovoyt, governor of the region, told the Russian Business Consulting agency. Russia will retake the lead in global wheat exports in spite of an upcoming grain export quota and wheat export tax, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) said in the latest industry outlook. Prices for both poultry and pork are set to decline in Russia in 2021 against the backdrop of continuing production growth and weak domestic demand.
