The Russian pig industry has managed to overcome the trade embargo with both the United States and the European Union by expanding its total amount of breeding animals. Russian meat producer, Eurodon plans to produce 70,000 tonnes of turkey meat this year, increasing its’ output 32% on a year-to-year comparison versus 47,000 tonnes in 2015.
