By July 1 the number of cattle in farms of all categories in Russia was estimated at 19.2 million heads, which is 0.3% higher than the figure for the same date in 2019. This was reported by Rosstat.

The number of cows by the beginning of the reporting month increased by 0.4% to 8.1 million heads, pigs - by 5.3% to 26.8 million heads, poultry - by 0.3%, to 563.4 million heads. At the same time, the number of sheep and goats decreased by 0.8% to 24.9 million heads.
