According to EMISS, the average price of beef in the Russian market in October increased by 0.8% over the month and amounted to 345.9 rubles per kilogram of meat.
On an annualized basis, it grew by 5.7%, and from January, 2019 - by 5.1%. The average price of a kilogram of beef is the price record for the past two years and 10 months. The minimum price level for beef in Russia, according to EMISS, was registered in January 2017: the average price of cattle meat was 315.02 rubles per kilogram. The highest prices for beef in October 2019 were in the Central Federal District: an average of 396.39 rubles per kilogram.
