In January — May 2019 108.6 thousand tons of livestock and poultry were produced for slaughter in the Rostov Region. Compared to the same period last year, the figure fell by 43.1%. reports Rostovstat.
The production of eggs fell by 22% to just 735.4 million units. Milk production increased by 0.2% and amounted 382.4 thousand tons.
