9 restaurants of Russia were included in the prestigious rating of the best institutions in the world La Liste - 2020, TASS reports.

Never before has such a large number of catering establishments from Russia been included in the "golden thousand" of the world. Last year there were 26 of them, which also turned out to be a record for the country. This allowed Russia to rise in the national classification from 11th to 8th place out of 195 states.

The highest score got the Moscow restaurant Twins Garden: 94 out of 100. The second place among Russian restaurants got White Rabbit, the third was taken by Pushkin (these are also Moscow residents).

But not only metropolitan institutions look worthy in the international arena. So, La Colline restaurant from Bolshoi Sareevo (Moscow region, Odintsovo district) with 87 points took the high 8th place of the Russian top. This is the highest among regional restaurants.

Experts note that the overall level of gastronomic establishments in Russia is growing. This applies to both capitals and the province.
