 Russia has reached the values ​​of food security in almost all key areas, and in some of them, in particular, grain harvest and supply of fish and fish products, exceeded the doctrine indicators by 1.5 times. This was announced on September 2, 2020 by Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko at the final board of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.

“Last year, Russian companies caught about five million tons of fish. Production volumes have doubled over the past ten years. Compared to 2018, production volumes increased by 20% last year, "- said Victoria Abramchenko.

Russian companies also continue to increase the production of meat products, she said. Last year the production of meat and meat-containing products  increased by 11.5%. There is an increase in the production of raw milk, cheese and cream by 16%.
