Russia's biggest poultry producer will receive support from the Russian Ministry of Economic Development to extend its exports to new foreign markets. Sergey Mikhailov, CEO of the Cherkizovo, and Alexei Gruzdev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, held a business meeting, during which they discussed measures to support the foreign economic activities of agro-industrial companies. Ukraine reported pork exports of 809 tons worth $1.88 million in the first four months of 2018, Latifundist reports. Based on the data presented by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the main importers of Ukrainian pork in the mentioned period are Hong Kong ($1,071,000), Georgia ($355,000) and Vietnam ($354,000). Authorities of Ingushetia want to export poultry products from the Yuzhny complex to Qatar and several other Arab countries, according to the latest statement made by the head of the republic Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, as reported by the Russian news agency Tass. "Proposals regarding poultry shipments have been prepared for the Qatari delegation and for Saudi Arabia and the Arab Emirates," the head of the republic told Tass.
