MHP's poultry sales boosted by exports

MHP's poultry production increased by 10% in the third quarter of this year compared to year-earlier levels, reaching 150,650 tonnes, while in the first nine months of this year, the volumes increased by 8% to 458,540 tonnes. Ukraine has reported an increase of 15% in its exports of poultry meat between January and September 2018 compared to year-earlier levels, reaching 243.7 thousand tons, UNN reports. Russian-based Miratorg is investing 3.8 billion rubles ($57.8 million) in its pig farms in Bryansk region in order to double its production capacity. Kyrgyzstan bans poultry meat imports from Kazakhstan

Kyrgyzstan has imposed temporary restrictions on the imports of poultry meat and eggs from Almaty and North Kazakhstan due to possible avian influenza and Newcastle disease outbreaks in these regions.
