Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev issued an order relating to the conditions in the labeling system for finished products of Russian enterprises and the list of goods which are subject to labeling, Vedomosti reported. Since 2017 the Government-authorized Center for Promising Technologies has been working on the labeling system for Russian goods. By 2019, the requirement of mandatory labeling was applied to 12 categories of goods. The order of the Prime Minister proposes to expand their list to nine more groups. The Russian government expects that the country’s non-energy exports will reach $160 billion in 2019, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said at the meeting of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects on Wednesday,accordingto Vesti Finance. “Non-energy exports are expected to increase by up to $9 billion this year compared with last year, whereas the total amount will equal $160 billion,” he said. Wild boar can be immunised against African Swine Fever (ASF) by a new vaccine delivered to the animals in their food, according to new research from Spain. Published inFrontiers in Veterinary Science, it is the 1streport of a promising inoculation against the virus. In 2019 Russia will increase the volume of poultry exports fivefold compared to 2018, to $ 975 million, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation said. In 2018, poultry meat exports from Russia to countries outside the Customs Union increased by 30.2% compared to 2017 and amounted 145.2 thousand tons, of which 40.5% were sent to Vietnam and 36, 6% - to Ukraine (Donetsk and Lugansk regions).
